Host Applications
This station continues to excel where many others have failed. Why? Simply because we run this station as a business and not a hobby. Granted, no one receives any payment to be a broadcaster on the station. Everyone volunteers their time and resources. Regardless, we all take a great deal of pride in our station and the broadcasts that we produce. For us all to do our very best, this means that we all have to be on the same page regarding our broadcasts. We have a few requirements first that must be met for you to be considered as a broadcaster on the station.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to commit to broadcast once per week. If unable to do your show one night, must give 24 hours notice so that a replacement can be found.
Must have a working understanding of recording on a computer, Winamp and Winamp plugins.
Must have Cable or DSL. Sorry, 56k is not fast enough.
Must be able to get along with the staff, take direction and listen to feedback. This is very important. We are all a team here to help each other.
If you are selected as a DJ, we will supply the software and setup you will require to broadcast. It is your responsibility to learn and understand the software that we use. Don't worry though. We are around to assist you should you require some help. If you are still interested, please click the button below to fill out a IJ Application form.
